Spectra is accepting applications for an Apprentice Electrician.  This is a full-time position and is fully benefited.

Duties and responsibilities

The primary duty is to assist in basic tasks relating to the maintenance and installation of a wide variety of electrical systems.

• Assist Journeyman and Master electricians
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand-tools.
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
• Dig trenches or holes for installation of conduit or supports.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site by hand, hand-truck, or heavy, motorized truck.
• Provide on-call support to various clients.
• Provide documentation of work completed.
• Maintain industry standard health and safety compliance.
• Must have a valid Driver License
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trainee Certification

• Knowledge of electrical codes
• Ability to understand schematics and technical manuals
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma

Drug testing and background checks are required.
