On Tuesday, February 16, VTV Channel 6 will celebrate the opening of its new building at 2276 W Hwy 40 in Vernal, which houses a brand new, cutting-edge television studio. The community is invited to share in the celebration & tour the facility at a public open house from 1 to 4 PM. Those who attend will get the opportunity to see what takes place behind the cameras, meet the VTV staff, and enjoy light refreshments.
VTV Channel 6 provides local video content & production services to the Uintah Basin, as well as commercial advertising solutions. The new building, which includes an 1100-square-foot television studio, state-of-the-art editing equipment, and green screen capabilities, will bring greater opportunities for the company to enhance their services, said VTV.
The studio shares an adjoining building with VTV’s parent company, STRATA Networks. The space occupied by STRATA contains primarily inventory storage and office spaces for STRATA personnel, including sales, construction, and technical support staff, to better serve customers in the Vernal area. STRATA product and services will not be sold out of this location. STRATA customers are encouraged to continue visiting STRATA’s recently expanded store located in the Vernal Towne shopping center next to Dickey’s and Sally’s Beauty Supply.
